Motorcycle tourism in Sicily:

Motorcycle tour in Sicily discovering the unspoilt resources in the province of Trapani, Palermo and Agrigento riding BMW motorcycle. In this week tour you will visit interesting archaeological and natural sites riding in back uspoilt roadswith the possibility to practise some water or land sports, staying in tyoical Sicilian rural accommodation.

Motorcycle tours in Sicily

1st Day
	Arrival and transfer from airport to your rural accommodation. Dinner and we will show the tour itinerary for the following day
2nd Day: 80 km
Mountain Cofano	Breakfast. Today our motorcycle tour starts in Sicily leaving our rural accommodation to reach the medieval town of Erice riding along the coast line admiring the salt paint and the windmills of Muslim origin. The mountain trails is riched of curve up to arrive to Erice, where we could enjoy in visiting this medieval town that stands in the mountain, with its Normann Castles, ancient churches that appear in narrow streets. After visiting Erice we descend to Valderice reaching Scurati cave. Here we could admire the houses built inside the cave and the ancient tools used in agriculture. From this cave we could have a relaxing trekking along the coast line of Mountain Cofano, admiring a Muslim towers. On the way back to our rural accommodation we will see another Muslim tower: Tonnara di Bonagia, used by fishermen after fishing tuna fish. Dinner and meeting to show the tour itinerary for the following day.
3rd Day: 141 Km
Faraglioni di Scopello	Breakfast Following the way to Valderice we reach the fishermen's town of Castellamare del Golfo. Here our guest can enjoy in visiting a particular cave made of stalactite and stalagmites guided by speleologists. Here we will go down up to 100 metres passing in little tunnel up to reach the fantastic lakes inside the cave. Leaving from the cave we could have a lunch breal in Scopello admiring the particular rocks (Faraglioni di Scopello) that stands from the sea water, with the possibility to have a smiw there. After lunch on the way back we can have a break in an ancient workshop of carpet hand made, continuing up to reach Scorace Forest and the archaeological ruins of Segesta (a doric temple and a theatre). So we will reach the rural accommodation in a landscape made of olive trees, vineyards and Bagli (ancient rural sicilian house). Dinner and meeting to show the tour itinerary of the following day.
4th Day: 150 Km
	Breakfast Today on board of BMW motorcycle we go to Stagnone where we could practise some water sports as windsurf, canoa or kite surf. In stagnone of Marsala we can visit the little Phoenician island of Mozia discovering its ruins walking along the coastline and visiting the Museum where iti is preserved the staue of the young man of Mozia. Free lunch break in the sport centre tasting typical foods. After lunch we reach San Vito lo Capo admiring typical sicilian landscape made of hills full of olive trees and vineyards. In San Vito lo Capo, we can relax in the beautiful seaside or visit the unspoilt nature reserve of Zingaro having a swim in the wonderful inlets Dinner and meeting to show the tour itinerary of the following day.
5th Day: 163 Km
	Breakfast. From our rural accommodation we continue in direction of Mazara del vallo, a muslim town and admiring the statue of Dancing Satyr preserved in the Archaeological Museum. Then we continue to the archaeologic site of Selinunte admiring the ancient temples that stand along the coast. Possibility for who wants to relax in the seaside of Selinunte. Lunch break in Selinunte or in a castle of Santa Ninfa tasting the typical foods of Belice valley. Riding our BMW we visit the medieval town of Salemi with its particular churches and castle up to reach the other rural accommodation in roccamena. Dinner and meeting to show the tour itinerary of the following day.
6th Day: 192 km
	Breakfast. Today on board of our BMW motorcycle, we visit the little towns in the countryside. The first one is Sciacca that also today preserves its appeal for the particular narrow streets where you can discover ancient churches and buildings in baroque style. Here we can visit the typical workshop of ceramics up to reach Caltabellotta a little town between two mountains. Here we can discover its castle and having lunch in a little restaurant - museum of ancient traditions tasting typical foods. After lunch we continue in direction of Burgio, little town popular for the production of bells up to reach two little particular town: Giuliana and Palazzo Adriano lost in the mountains. So we go on up to Corleone admiring its castle that stands on the rock up to coming back to our rural accommodation. Dinner and meeting to show the tour itinerary of the following day.
7th day: 148 Km
	Breakfast. Today we continue our tour doscovering other little town in Sicily countryside visiting the Real Palace of Ficuzza, lost in the forest and the little town of Piana degli Albanesi popular for cannoli sweet. We go on in direction of Palermo admiring the Muslim-Normann architecture, its typical markets where we could have lunch tasting Palermo specialities. After lunch we can visit the Cathedral of Monreale with its mosaics and the villas of Bagheria. Dinner.
8° Giorno
	End of the tour and in relation of time table flights you could enjoy riding a BMW leaving it at the airport.
